Working with the Construction Industry Federation (CIF), Pennypop once again delivered their flagship International Women’s Day event in March 2026, continuing our multi-year partnership supporting the promotion of women in the construction industry.
Planning for the event began several months in advance as we worked with the CIF team to develop the overall event theme in line with their brand guidelines, secure sponsors and manage all event logistics. Our role included coordinating the venue, liaising with vendors, developing visual assets and overseeing the production of all print and digital materials.
A key focus for the 2026 event was expanding both the in-person and online audience, ensuring strong engagement across digital platforms as well as in the room. Our team managed the social media strategy, promotional campaign and live event coverage, creating shareable content and ensuring sponsors and speakers were highlighted throughout the campaign.
To enhance the event experience, we partnered with suppliers across AV, photography and event design to create visually engaging spaces within the venue, including a branded floral display wall and social-media-ready photo opportunities that encouraged attendees to share content throughout the day.
The event attracted strong participation from across the construction sector, bringing together industry leaders, professionals and students to celebrate achievements, share experiences and promote greater representation of women in construction.
