The Strand Bar and Restaurant is situated in Rush, Co. Dublin and we were requested to help drive their social media following. When we started with them they had 700 followers on Facebook and very low engagement overall online. However, they had a very strong footfall and loyal clientele that we wanted to represent in their online following.
We developed a dedicated social media calendar, meeting with the owners monthly to agree and create video content and imagery to support their promotions in the bar and restaurant. We helped them develop their brand identity through consistency, developing their logo, menu templates, road signage and uniforms. We introduced them to instagram and helped build their profile on line and attract followers organically.
We then entered the 98fm Best of Dublin competition and began an online promotional campaign to seek votes from the general public to help promote the bar. As a result of the public vote, The Strand were named finalists and brought the team to the finals as an added employee engagement opportunity. The outcome of the campaign created a great buzz with the staff and local community and drove their social media following to over three thousand followers in that short timeframe.
The owners were engaged throughout the process and understood the need for consistency and support in implementing the strategy which paid off for them and brought their audience online as well as on site.
Through the pandemic, while hospitality was in lockdown, the team were able to continue to communicate with their customers and now continues to have a bustling trade and continue to increase their following online.
